Oooooh love this topic.
We should have a black and green forum :D.
I have stepped up my gardening for the environment.
I'm trying to commute less to work (2-3 days at most instead of 4)
I support local goods (farmers markets, local vendors that use local suppliers).
RECYCLE my glass and plastic.
My biggest struggle is water consumption because I love long showers.
I know its bad but I just love them. :(

We recycle most everything that we can. They won't even pick up your garbage if you have recycling materials in them. There are special bins we have specifically for recycling purposes.
I too am bad with the shower thing Izzy its hard to break that especially being a tad germophobic and the temps around her fluctuate so crazily this time of year....the humidity is killer.
I make sure to turn off lights as i leave the room. I unplug most every appliance that I can when not in use.
I use the new energy efficient bulbs in every socket.
I eat more organic especially as a vege
I have begun taking the bus to work because it saves on gas consumption with a vehicle and its good to get out and walk.

I don't recycle because my apartment doesn't support it. but if they did, I would do it...
I did learn today that those light bulbs, the fluorescent coiled ones, they can't be thrown in the regular trash. You have to separate them because they have mercury in them. You can't even throw them in with your other glass objects..
