I did!!!! One hour. My acupuncturist told me I needed to spend at least 20 minutes stretching and getting my joints warm (makes me sound ancient doesn't it?) but you know it has really made a difference. Then I lifted weights, and then stretched again at the end.

I have to admit.. I haven't had a good workout since I moved-in January.
I am trying to get back into it.. I told myself this week I want to hit the gym at least 2 times. I'm not going to just jump back into my old regime, that'd be setting myself up for failure...
I will be letting you guys know how it goes!

^^^^ Congrats Chi!!
As for me, I run about 3-5 miles Monday-Friday..Kudos to you ladies who work out everyday.. I have been pretty consistent over the past 2 months, but the weather in here is schizophrenic, we shall see if I can continue.
Izzy- how often do you lift weights? I'm trying to do that as well, a couple of times a week, to get a bit more toned, but I don't want to look beefcake-like..

Thanks Ladies :D:D:D:D
This was like the first time ever if actually stuck to my routine. .. . like EVER. .
I actually have some before shots . . so I can prob put up some comparisons.
---NO CP--- LOL
I started out going to a bootcamp class. It met at 5:30 am, three times a week, for one hour. Tough. . . but leaving there always felt like an accomplishment. On the days I didn't work out with the bootcamp I went to my gym and did the elliptical or treadmill for 30 minutes.
The bootcamp was a lot of running, squats, lunges, and weight exercises. We targeted one body part each day. I will try to look up some things and get more specific. I work some of the exercises we did there into my routine now.
Currently this is my routine (I'm not an expert or anything but this works for me):
* I divide my days into upper and lower body.
*On my upper body days. . I start on the elliptical, do that for about 30 minutes at a high resistance level. Then I use 8 lb weights and do arm curls, etc. Then I do about 60 pushups (6 sets of 10). I do a bunch of other things. . but I don't know the names. In between sets of exercises, I sprint for one lap on the track.
* Lower body days are similar starting off with the elliptical for 30 min. Then I jog for about 15 minutes. Then I do about 100 squats (5 sets of 20). . lunges (side and front). . leg lifts. .
Hope this helps :o
I need to learn the names of the exercises I do. . smh
Good job sticking to your word Cleo :)
ID - Do you ever get to run at the lakefront. . . probably so peaceful. .
Iz- How has your experience been with acupuncturist? I've been wanting to try it. . but I'm scared.

Hi ID
I just do 2-3 days a week. That wont get you beefcake. A lot of that would be about dieting anyway. You'd have to eat to bulk and thats tough if you are naturally a small person. I do full body 2-3 days a week. Rest of days i stretch and do some Hit cardio.
Congratulations Chi!
Acupuncture has been a part of my life for a long time now. It has helped me a lot! It doesnt hurt- the needles are hair thin. My acupuncturist is this buff hot tan chinese dude that is no joke though. I have rehabbed a hand, an ankle, and shoulder pain with acupuncture and herbs. Good stuff.
