Inspired by ID's question.
Here are some links for weight training.
www.stumptuous.com The tone is a bit CACish but there's good info and inspiration there.
Ignore the offensive title- this is a good article for anyone who is plus sized that decides he/she may want to start exercising more. All exercise recommendations are not created equal.

A novel and fun way to weight train without a big stack of weights is the kettlestack!!!

I have one and it's great. The Kettlestack support team guys are very helpful. They answered all my questions AND sent me free stuff to test out when I was getting started but had trouble keeping the stack stable without adding too much weight. Excellent customer service.
I LOVE this site www.bodyweightculture.com.
It's not so user friendly with the pics in some threads, but people give away tons of info for free. These exercises for the most part require NO equipment. There are lots of videos available too.
If you want to get hardcore visit www.bodybuilding.com and the members associated bodyspace pages. I think the forum is too full of 'roid heads and eating disordered individuals, but the bodyspace pages are truly inspiring.
A fellow bgolien runs this blog. He hadn't updated in a while but looks like its still active.

I have yet to find a site that focuses on black women and exercise so if you have found one please post it. Heart and Soul magazine sucks in my opinion and that's pretty much all we have in terms of black women and fitness.
