HI CT,
I would really like to see this SOL thrive in a way the other board didn't. A place where adult women can talk and act like adults without turning into a bitch fest, or cat fight every 5 minutes. A place where ninjas aren't instigating cat fights either. It's ok to agree to disagree.

It'd be nice to get some safe networking and exchange on here too.

People have to POST regularly, and we have to post some content.
Ladies very rarely post the content the men do (I'm guilty of this as well).
We may need some good male content posters to get started.

I agree on the points about a change in attitude and energy. This place should be a somewhere (black) men and women interact in a mature manner on any and every topic from A to Z. We should use this as a gathering place to exchange ideas, information, questions, etc. and to offer and get solutions. We should keep the bickering to a minimum and listen to what others have to say and when necessary we should (respectfully) agree to disagree and move on as adults...

I agree! I want this to be a positive place for women to come, kick their shoes off and get comfortable. I myself will probably take to only modding the other board and my posts will be far and few in between.
I want to work on this site and make the vision a reality.
There are positive black women, there are smart educated and secure black women...And there are freaky perverted black women...I consider myself to be a combination of all of the previous mentioned.

Totally agree. It can definitely happen. It can be a lively spot with a very interesting and diverse mix of personalities. Drama is not and should not be a default mode. :yes:
